Advice for teachers
Our founder, Zelna Lauwrens started her career as a teacher in a special needs school in 1996 and resigned in 2005 after working in a myriad of schools and becoming frustrated with the fact that she didn’t have enough time to support those children who really needed her the most.
It was the children labeled with problems who really appealed to her and she did everything she could to learn about their needs and understand them.
Without realising it then, she was building the foundation for our organisation and her Kids Life Studio® Coach Academy.
Feel free to ask us about our whole school programmes. We are on hand to offer your staff training on how to easily implement our Kids Life Coaching model and Play Based Coaching System®️.
It is our aim to help you to simplify, diversify and keep doing what you do best… inspiring children.
We believe that there are two kinds of teachers
1. Those who care and make an effort to understand children no matter how bad their behaviour is.
They are the ones who will do whatever it takes to get the best out of children and don’t believe in labelling them or boxing in their potential.
2. Those who are too busy to get fully involved because of school administration, red tape and academic focus.
They are the ones who have forgotten about the human element behind their teaching because they are so under pressure that they’re just ticking the boxes.
No matter which category you fall under right now, we would love to educate, motivate and inspire you with our easy to use Kids Life Coaching techniques.
We simply have to mention though…. sometimes rules need to be modified, rewritten or perhaps even broken to get the best out of each unique child.
