About Me:

Hi, I’m Dr. Lamya Tawfik, an Egyptian born (and currently residing) in Dubai, UAE. I am the founder of iChoose, a company that has at it’s very core the wellbeing, entertainment and playful growth of children.

What do I do?:

iChoose is really about nurturing children’s curiosity and mental growth by using the language they are all proficient in: play. Under the iChoose brand I offer my service as a kids life coach, a creative therapist and a
storyteller. I also organize kids workshops and story reading workshop for parents. All of my services are offered in Arabic, English and Italian.

What’s my “WHY”?:

My purpose in life, my IKIGAI is the wellbeing of children. I believe that if we want to change the world, to make it a better place then we needs to start with children. We need to plant seeds of empathy and to instil in them emotional and social intelligence skills. We need to make them feel loved, safe and to give them a sense of agency. Kids need to learn how to make choices on a day-to-day basis that are in sync with their own values. In fact, they need to learn how to identify their own values. This is why I do what I do.

Why work with me?:

I have a solid foundation and a true passion to work with children. In addition to my formal certifications I generally find it easy to connect with children. We enjoy each other’s company which means that we listen to one another. Talking to children comes easily to me which is a true blessing as a kids life coach.

What’s my secret ingredient?:

I’ve never lost touch with the child inside me.
