Introduction
Hello, I’m Saleha.
I’m a certified Kids Life Coach, a qualified teacher, and an expat mum. I bring all of these experiences together to guide children in a gentle, playful, and meaningful way. Having navigated the ups and downs of being an expat parent, I understand how children face
emotional, social, and cultural challenges while growing up in a world that is constantly
changing. I have seen firsthand how important it is for children to feel seen, heard, and
understood and how much they can flourish when they have support that is empathetic,
nurturing, and responsive to their individual needs.
I am passionate about helping children discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop the tools to manage their emotions and relationships. Every child I meet brings a unique story, perspective, and set of strengths, and I love working alongside them to help those strengths shine.
At the heart of my work is a belief that every child has the potential to become a resilient,
confident, and self aware individual. I aim to create a space where children feel safe to express themselves, explore their feelings, and develop skills that will help them navigate life with courage and clarity.
How I Support Children
Every child I work with is unique, and I create coaching plans that are personalised to their
strengths, needs, and everyday life. I take the time to understand each child as a whole person, their emotions, personality, challenges, and joys, so that coaching feels meaningful, relevant, and empowering.
My approach is gentle, playful, and evidence informed. I use creative tools, games, and
interactive activities that help children explore their emotions, build confidence, and practice new skills in a safe and supportive environment. Children learn to express themselves, solve problems, and develop resilience, all while feeling seen and understood.
Connection is at the heart of my coaching. I listen deeply, reflect what children share, and
celebrate their successes, no matter how small. This creates a trusting space where children
feel comfortable asking questions and trying new ways of thinking and behaving.
What Guides My Work
My work is deeply inspired by my experience as an expat mum. I have seen how children
adjust to new environments, friendships, and expectations, and how powerful it can be when they feel truly supported. I am guided by a deep belief that children thrive when they feel seen, heard, and understood. I am passionate about creating a space where children can explore their emotions safely, practice expressing themselves, and discover their strengths. I want every child to know that their feelings matter, their voice matters, and their potential is limitless.
My Commitment at Little Lanterns
