My name is Renata and I am from La Paz, Bolivia. When I look back I realise that I had been a very insecure girl and believed I had too many limitations to reach my dreams. I thought that thinking about damaging thoughts was normal, and that I didn’t have the ability to change it. How wrong was I!
After having some troubles with my job, with damaging people and with toxic relationships, I realized that the problem was that I didn’t have the tools and knowledge to create good habits, so I started to learn them. I have been on this journey for a few years and I started to see that life can be different and today I can say that nothing that can happen to me has the power to destroy me. I may suffer, I may be tired, but now I know I will always stand up after adversity, learn something and become a better person.

My vision is to help kids to learn these things when they are still young, because I am sure that if I had learned this as a young girl, it would have been easier. As soon as I saw that there were people like me, who really believed in a better world, I decided to join them and that is how I started training using the Kids Life Studio Coaching Program. I really love the idea of helping kids to enjoy their lives and for them to have tools to be resilient and face adversity.

Today I am a certified Kids Life Coach and I am one of the co-founders of the HERO FOUNDATION. Our main goal is to strengthen kids and adolescents´ inside world. We aim to create awareness about the importance of mental and emotional health in children and adolescents, and we want to reach more children to prevent mental disorders, because taking care of mental health should not be a luxury, but a priority.
